Door And Camera Check Software

The access log says a name. The camera at the door saw a person. Door and Camera Check is the screen where those two records meet.

A card, a fingerprint or a face at a reader produces an event: granted or denied, at a door, at a time, for an enrolled person. Separately, a camera above that door recorded whoever walked through. In most buildings those systems are not looked at together until something has already gone wrong.

The usual failures are ordinary. Someone holds the door for the person behind them. A card is lent. A visitor pass is used by a second guest. The log is clean because the reader did its job. The camera is the only record of who actually passed.

Door and Camera Check shows the reader event and the camera of that door for the same moment, for staff and visitors you have already enrolled. It is not a search for faces in a street, a mall or a crowd. It does not claim to name a stranger. Door and Camera Check is not Eagle Eye.

Why Teams Ask For This

Tailgating Looks Like A Normal Grant

One badge, two people. The log has one row. The second person was never asked for a credential.

A Borrowed Card Has The Right Name

The system believes the enrolled person entered. The picture at the door is someone else. Nobody compares them unless they already suspect.

Visitors Are A Paper List

Reception wrote a name. The pass opened a door. The camera of that door is not attached to the visit.

The Review Happens Too Late

Security pulls the reader report on Monday and the video on Tuesday, then tries to line up the clocks. If the clocks disagree, the comparison is a guess.

How Door And Camera Check Works

Each step is something a pilot can check. A step that does not fit the site is said out loud, not hidden in a demo.

01

The Door Needs Both

A reader that sends a grant or a denial, and a camera that sees that door. A camera in the car park is not the camera for the turnstile.

02

People Are Enrolled First

Staff and visitors already exist in the access system. The check is about those people. It does not build a gallery of everyone the camera saw.

03

The Times Are Lined Up

The reader event and the camera view are shown for the same moment. If the recorder clock and the reader clock drift, the pilot fixes that before anyone trusts the screen.

04

A Person Compares

The operator sees the name on the event and the picture at the door. They mark it matched, questioned, or passed. The software does not declare an identity by itself.

05

Denied Attempts Stay Visible

A denial is useful. It shows who tried a door they should not open, next to the camera of that attempt.

06

The Clip Is Kept With The Event

Later review does not start from a blank recorder. It starts from the event you already marked.

What You See

The Event

Door, time, granted or denied, and the enrolled name.

The Picture

The camera of that door at that time.

A Mark

Matched, questioned, or passed, with who reviewed it.

Doors Across Buildings

Each door you connected, not a single entrance only.

Visitors As Visitors

A visit stays a visit. It is not mixed into the employee list.

Who It Is For

  • Offices with badge readers and a camera on the same door
  • Factories and warehouses where a borrowed card is a safety problem
  • Retail back-of-house doors
  • Reception teams who issue visitor passes
  • Security teams who currently reconcile video and access the next day

What This Product Will Not Do

These limits are part of the product. A pilot that needs the opposite is the wrong product.

It Does Not Identify The Public

There is no search of people walking past a building. If the person was never enrolled, the screen shows a picture and an event, not a name from the street.

It Does Not Stop The Door By Itself

A questioned event is a review. Automatically locking someone out would be a separate rule, agreed in writing, and it is not the default.

A Camera That Cannot See The Face Cannot Support A Comparison

If the lens sees the back of a hood, the reviewer sees a hood. The pilot rejects doors where the picture is not usable.

Enrolled People Must Know

Staff and visitors should be told that the door camera is kept with the access event. That notice is the customer's responsibility in their country. We do not provide a legal opinion.

How A Pilot Runs

  1. 1One door that already has a reader and a camera worth watching.
  2. 2We check that both clocks agree.
  3. 3Your team reviews a day of grants, including a known tailgate if you have one.
  4. 4We do not add a second door until the first picture is actually usable.
  5. 5Visitor passes are included only if reception already enrols the visitor.

Questions Worth Answering First

Is This Facial Recognition Of Everyone In The Building?

No. It shows the access event for an enrolled person next to the camera of that door. It does not search a crowd for a face.

What Is Tailgating?

One person presents a credential and another person walks through behind them without presenting their own. The reader log shows one entry. The camera shows two people.

Will It Refuse Entry Automatically?

Not by default. A person reviews the event. An automatic refusal would have to be a written rule, and it is not how the pilot starts.

What If The Camera And The Reader Disagree On The Time?

The comparison is useless until the clocks match. That check is part of the pilot.

Do Visitors Get Enrolled?

Only if your reception already creates a visitor record. The product does not invent a visitor from a face it has never been given.

Is This Eagle Eye?

No. Door and Camera Check is its own product. It needs both an access event and a camera.
